Bachelorette' Wedding: Ashley and J.P. Spill Details of Their Big Day

This Sunday night, reality TV fans will have the chance to watchBachelorette couple Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum walk down the aisle in a special televised wedding event, The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.’s Wedding.

The newlyweds are only the third couple in Bachelor history to make it to the altar (Trista Rhen and Ryan Sutter wed in 2003, and Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney tied the knot in 2010), and in a conference call with reporters this week, they shared details about what fans can expect to see during their highly-anticipated nuptials, which took place in Pasadena a few weeks ago.

"I would love to tell you that she was a bridezilla and that it was crazy and stressful but to tell you the truth — knock on wood — everything went more or less very smoothly," Rosenbaum shared. "There was no fighting."

As for the decision to have their wedding filmed by ABC, the couple went back and forth on whether to allow cameras to capture their special day.  "We weren't sure if we wanted to do it," Hebert said. "One of the main reasons why we wanted to is because we had so many, so much great support from people that have watched the show, people that were fans of the show, that we kind of felt like it would all come full circle. And it kind of allowed people that spent so much of their own emotion going through the relationship with me and with J.P., to really kind of celebrate and you know, enjoy a happy ending."

Rosenbaum agreed, and added, "There are very few people in this world that get to have the, you know, a fantasy wedding, the wedding of their dreams.  And at the end of the day... I think in 20 years from now, if we didn't do it I think we would look back and say, you know what? We should have done it."

Though they went back and forth on documenting their wedding for reality TV, choosing their officiant was a no-brainer. “Chris Harrison was really our first choice,” Rosenbaum said. “He has been there from the very beginning, when Ashley was obviously on Brad [Womack's] season and then throughout our season. He’s seen our good sides, our bad sides. Even off the show, we see him when he’s in New York. We have a really great relationship, and it just all made sense to come full circle and to have Chris Harrison up there with us.”

Harrison even spiced up the reception by creating a makeshift limbo game by tying his tie together with another guest's! The cameras didn't catch the playful moment, but Rosenbaum says he has a photo of it. “I think we’ll release that at some point,” Hebert joked.

Ashley also admitted that she wasn't too hung up on wedding traditions; she didn't have something borrowed or blue, and she didn't throw her bouquet. And what was she thinking when she was walking down the aisle? "I wish I could say that it was something other than, 'Wow my train is so heavy, I'm not sure I can make it all the way up those steps,'" she laughed. “Baby, I’m sorry, but that was the truth. It was so heavy.”

Other fun wedding details? The couple wrote their own vows, fellow Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey was a bridesmaid, J.P. wore a yarmulke, and the twosome dance the Hora at the reception.

So what's up next for Ashley and J.P. now that they've tied the knot? Could babies be on the way? "I mean we just got married, so we're just going to chill out for a little while and enjoy each other's company," Hebert said. Rosenbaum hinted that there may be some negotiations that need to happen before they start a family. "She wants one, I want two," he laughed. "And I want another dog," Hebert added.
