Is it just us, or did Cate Blanchett appear to be reaching for the stars at the UK premiere ofThe Hobbit? Okay, okay, maybe she didn't actually wear Princess Leia buns, but her long-sleeve white gown instantly reminded us of the iconic Star Wars roll. Are we right?
And we make this comparison in the most
admiring way possible—Cate is the queen of high fashion, and this would
obviously be a couture version of Princess Leia's garb. Just look at the back
of this crisp white Givenchy gown. To. Die. For. And those shoes (gasp!) precisely
what one would hope royalty would wear on space ships.
