Usually when we picture couples who dress alike, visions of
tourists clad in matching plaid khakis and fanny packs come to mind (Don't ask
us why, they just do). But leave it to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to take
the whole matchy-matchy concept up a notch with strikingly similar leather
skirts. Yes, we said it, skirts.
While we've known for some time that Kimye shares a serious
kraving for all things leather, the leather skirt Kanye wore for the 12-12-12
concert (over a pair of leather pants, mind you), brought things to a whole new
level. Not helping matters is the fact that Kim wore this similar
too-tight-to-breathe-in peplum version the very same day.
While we really wish men (other than Marc Jacobs who can
arguably wear anything), would just never ever wear skirts again, we're pretty
confident most don't need our help figuring that one out. However, Kim and
Kanye's antics did bring to light a more pressing matter: When does dressing
alike start to get weird? At what point does cute coordination a la Jennifer
Aniston and Justin Theroux veer into creepy clone territory?
